Christian Aid Coffee Mornings - If you feel you are able to help once or twice a year we would be very pleased to add your name to the rota. Please see Chris Wilding.

Frodsham C.E. School Thank you to all the people who have agreed to come and listen to the children read. It is a wonderful link between the generations.

The Tower: The structural engineer has been and does not think that we need a full structural survey. But alas there might be major work to be done as they have exposed iron work which runs right round the tower which is corroding and might possibly push the stonework out in future. But this will not be included in the application to English Heritage.

Queen’s Jubilee shared supper in the Parish Hall on Saturday 2nd June at 6.00pm. If you are coming to this event please put your name on the list at back of church with food being brought. Thank-you. Also there is a short service and picnic in the Park on Sunday 3rd June at 1pm.

Foden’s Brass Band Concert – in church on Saturday 9th June at 7.00 pm. Tickets £10 availeble from the members of the Fundraising Committee, Frodsham Frames (Main Street), Cheshire Dog Grooming Studio (Bellemonte Rd.) or email wcookstlaur@yahoo.co.uk Foden’s is a world renowned British Brass Band and all proceeds will go to the St. Laurence Building Repair Fund. This is a ticket only event.

Wine Tasting/Call My Bluff Evening – Friday, 15th June in the Parish Hall at 7.30 pm. Tickets £10, including light supper, from Heather Powling and Pauline Sharpe Come as a team or join a team (tables pf 6)

Dalai Lama – Public Meeting Sunday 17th June 1.30-3.30pm at Manchester Arena. Book via Ticketmasters 0844 847 8000 £25 (cost of his talk and arena)

History Weekend – 15th/16th September. Volunteers needed please to type up information into Word to go on the history CDs that we are making, and it would also be helpful if some people could scan in information/photographs too.
